Introducing Claire McDonough

As NAR’s Director of Online Advocacy, Claire helps educate, organize and mobilize REALTORS® on the REALTOR® Party political, legislative and regulatory priorities. She manages the federal Calls for Action (CFAs) and assists the state and local associations with adopting advocacy best practices for online mobilization of members at the state and local levels.

As part of NAR’s Political Programs team in Washington, D.C. she takes the REALTOR® Party principles — Vote, Act and Invest — and makes them come alive through the REALTOR® Action Center and its social media outlets. Her goal? To help build a strong and dynamic member political engagement culture among our members.

One key way she helps achieve this is through a state-of-the-art grassroots software system that NAR uses to disseminate important information like CFAs. She also provides training and strategy assistance to state and local associations who also use the grassroots software as part of NAR’s free Second Century Initiative resources.

Claire works closely with many of our most politically engaged members via the REALTOR® Political Involvement Committee, the Federal Political Coordinators and the NAR Member Mobilization Chair. She works to help create new resources to help them in the field like creating the REALTOR® Action Center App or launching the REALTOR® Mobile Action network.

She could not be more excited about the future of the REALTOR® Party and the promise that the current Political Survival changes will bring to NAR’s political strength.
