NAR 360 Commentary

So I know the purpose of the NAR 360 event is to be somewhat entertaining along with being informational. I have to say that I was not entertained or educated during the segment about (®). In fact, I was aggravated to hear the audience for compared to AARP. Y’all, we have a lot of challenges inside our industry – one of which is figuring out how to embrace and educate new REALTORS® while helping our veterans adapt to a constantly changing marketplace. We do not do ourselves any favors when we think of AARP as a measuring stick.

Call it what it is – Zillow has eaten’s lunch because was (and still is) afraid to be on the leading edge. Case in point – the quick shutdown of the AgentMatch profiles. We can’t be afraid to be different. We can’t be afraid to get outside the box of what we have always known. can declare its relevance, but the consumer goes elsewhere. Agents spend their dollars elsewhere. Now, I am glad to get the news that as a listing agent, I will get my leads. Yay. I should. That should be a no-brainer!
