I have a confession to make. I am a horrible gift giver. My mother has the super power of knowing just the right thing to get someone. For some reason she did not pass that super power on to me. When it comes to closing gifts, it always stresses me out. I would like to give something memorable but I do not want to give the same thing every other REALTOR® gives.
In life, I like to do what I am best at and leave the rest to the professionals. When I heard one of the 2015 NAR REach class, Loop&Tie, give a quick presentation during the NAR YPN Advisory Board Meeting, my interest was peeked. I then sought them out on the trade show floor and had them show me how the process works.
Loop&Tie is a gifting website. You sign up and make a profile, which you can add your logo and brand it to you. You then set a price you would like to spend on a gift. You then put your clients information in and send it over. They receive a link explaining that they have received a gift, but they get to choose it. They never see what the price is. They just see a bunch of options and pick what they want.
The gifts range from $25 to $250. From the back in of the website you can go in a check to make sure they have picked something. You can get receipts or go back to check to make sure you actually sent something. The gifts can be scheduled in advance for closing or their 1 year anniversary.
I really enjoyed the Loop&Tie idea because it takes the stress out of the situation for me and the client ends up getting something they really want.
