Arriving in DC

It’s great to be back in Washingon DC amongst my REALTOR® family. This year I’m rooming with first time attendee, Judy Panozzo, our local government affairs chair. After an uneventful flight with some disappointed Nationals fans (go Cubs) we hopped into a cab, and and learned our driver is also a REALTOR®! The discussion turned to the election, taxation, and our advocacy efforts.

We arrived at the Hilton, have already run into old friends and made a few new ones, including Ricky (pictured with Judy) from the friendly Hilton staff. I love the networking!

After a walk to registration we used our meeting planner app to map out our week of sessions, meetings, and hill visits. Tomorrow, I’m looking forward to a lively conversation from Peter Hart and Bill McIninturff, pollsters for the Democratic and Republican parties, as they discuss this never a dull moment crazy election season. I wish I could clone myself, there are so many great programs. So I too will follow my peers on legislative live so I won’t miss any of the action.
