Although meetings have been occurring all day Tuesday, one of the signature kickoff events is happening this afternoon.

NAR 360 is a chance for the national association to share updates on projects and initiatives. This year, NAR President Tom Salomone and Vice President Sherri Meadows shared that more than 900,000 consumers have responded to more than three billion emails sent out as part of the association’s consumer outreach.

NAR has worked over the past few years to engage more consumers in real estate issues, and Illinois REALTORS® has its own consumer foundation, Real Property Alliance.

According to NAR, the association plans to send every member of Congress a flash drive containing names of people in their districts who have indicated they stand with REALTORS® on private property rights issues.

NAR 360 was held at the Marriott Wardman Hotel in Washington, D.C.
