Packed house trying to make sense of the Federal election:

I just had an interesting conversation with my dear friend Chris Polychron. He set up a Presidential Advisory Group to explore ways to attract millennials to real estate as a first career choice. Visionary: we must bring in new blood and ensure our relevance to succeeding generations. Inspiration: you are never a “past” anything! Once a leader and mentor and giver, you are always in that role! Thank you President Chris!

PAG session: attracting millennials to real estate:

The trip to FHFA and CFPB was stimulating and informative: no canned “stay on message” bites from the speakers for the REALTORS®: it was good solid two-way dialogue. Director Richard Cordray was especially approachable and showed great depth and even humor in his remarks.

Richard Cordray speaking to REALTORS®:

I had to write down in Excel spreadsheet increments the various meetings I must attend, and some I want to squeeze in. I usually like to leave time for serendipity but there’s no “float” this week. There are simply too many interesting and informative and wonderful things to behold! I’ll sleep next week, what the heck….
