I was very honored to be invited to my first hill visit this year. Our Tucson delegation met with Congresswoman Martha McSally (R-AZ2) for a discussion on G fees, and millenials as well as her support and progress on saving the A-10 which is a major part of our local Air Force base, Davis Monthan. She has always been very supportive of REALTOR issues and, coming away from that meeting, I know that we have an ally in Southern Arizona going forward.
She has worked very hard as a freshman and I walked away from the meeting very inspired. You may have read that her bill to allow WASPS – women pilots – to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery is heading to the President’s desk today. She moved fast on getting this legislation written and through the process. I am so proud that she took this on.
