Midnight Monuments

It’s not often that I have free time in DC, but this year I took time to walk the mall at midnight with my best friend Shannon Buss from Rhode Island. The air was warm and the energy was buzzing and filled with people from all over the world who came to see our beautiful monuments. I am truly inspired by how great America really is and empowered to be involved in preserving our freedoms. This has been my favorite trip to our nation’s capital, and I will definitely be leaving with a very full cup!!!
