Welcome back to DC! I know many of you have had some travel headaches – a lot of my fellow Arizona delegates are facing cancelled and/or delayed flights. Hang in there, my friends!
Just a few items to get you started:
One of the most important tools you have this week as you go from hotel to hotel is the shuttle. This schedule is posted just outside the Wardman Park bar (to the left of the reception area). Shuttle services start on Tuesday. Make note of the last pick up times!!
To the right of the reception area is a display set up to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act.
Stop by and add your name to the wall. I have a feeling it’ll be full by the end of the week! You’ll also see a poster with some Fair Housing tools for you to use online by going to FairHousing.realtor
Don’t forget to download the Legislative Live app and sync your schedule. Remember, set up your schedule at the Legislative Live page at NAR, then, after you download the app, hit sync, and voila!
THE place to be usually is the bar at Wardman Park. You never know who you’ll run into – pop in, make some new friends and business contacts!
For our new attendees – don’t be afraid to ask for directions or help. If you see a meeting that looks interesting, go to it…unless it says closed meeting. It’s the best way to get to know what the committees are doing and get a chance to talk to some committee members. Oh – and I hope you brought your comfy shoes!
Get your rest today because we hit the ground running tomorrow for sure! Enjoy your week, stay cool, stay dry and have a blast!
