The meetings are over. Many have already left for their homes across the country. Needing to decompress after a busy and rainy week, we decided to take a stroll now that the sun had finally decided to show its face. We meandered through a charming neighborhood on our way to have brunch at Ted’s Bulletin. Everything was so green and lush after all the rain. The architecture here is of interest and very different from Reno, NV where we live.
Ted’s Bulletin is obviously a popular neighborhood restaurant due to the hour wait quoted when we walked in. We were able to snag a seat at the bar. The food was great. Especially enjoyed the Ted’s Tart. I had the seasonal cherry blossom. Nothing like a homemade “pop tart” to add some comfort to our Sunday brunch.
It’s time to say goodbye to DC. We enjoyed our stay. We got educated, we networked, and we advocated. All in all, a great week. Goodbye until next year.
