Fair Housing Workgroup

Thank you President Elizabeth J. Mendenhall and Past President William E Brown for the appointment to the Fair Housing Commemorative Task Force and for the recognition at the Board of Directors meeting. You provided me the opportunity to work with amazing REALTORS® from all over the country including Linda Rheinberger, Mike Teer, Winnie Davis, Maura Carey, Neill Deborah, T Gilmore, and Scott Caballero under the wonderful leadership of Chair Zeke Morris, Vice-Chair Gail Ackerson Hartnett, and NAR’s brilliant staff led by Fred Underwood and Wendy Penn. Seeing our collective ideas come to life in the fair housing presentations and events in such meaningful ways that were impactful to our members made my heart so full. In the last 50 years, our country has made progress with fair housing, but there’s so much more we need to do. Fair housing is not just the law, it’s the right thing to do. Fair housing makes U.S. Stronger.
