On Friday, May 19, REALTOR® University graduated their fifth class in Washington, D.C. The first class graduated in 2014, and with this fifth class, we now have over 60 graduates across the country. I was in the first graduating class, and Abe Wagner (class of 2015) and I were happy to congratulate our third Pennsylvanian to graduate from the program – Danielle Wadsworth from Enola, Pennsylvania (in the center in the photo above).
To graduate, MRE students must receive credit for at least 12 courses (36 semester credit hours), consisting of seven program-specific and five elective and concentration courses and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher (on a 4.00 scale).
As with any graduate degree program, the MRE at REALTOR® University requires that students complete a final research project– a Capstone project– that integrates the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program. The research project explores an original topic and makes a contribution to the field of academic and professional real estate.
Realtor University is the only accredited institution of higher education focused exclusively on real estate. Bob Goldberg, President of REALTOR® University, said, “This is an exciting moment in real estate. We have an enormous opportunity to take the REALTOR® community to the next level of professionalism and advance the industry as a whole.
I encourage you to make this your moment and join our global community. Together we can advance REALTOR® University to be the best place for real estate professionals to learn, live and lead.”
